AFFILIATIONS

E-KSS:
e-KSS stands for electronic exchange of knowledge - with the word Knowledge translated into Savoir in French and Saber in Spanish and in Portuguese.  Working together with members of the Board and volunteers associated with e-kss, Dr Picot, as Vice President of this newly formed not-for-profit organization has been active in providing guidance for the development of knowledge exchange projects between aboriginal representatives in Canada and indigenous people in Brazil, concentrating in the Amazon region.  The principal objectives of this organization are to encourage sustainable telehealth and e-health solutions and empower women and indigenous peoples with reference to improving access to education and health care.

CST and ATA: Dr Picot is a founding member of the Canadian Society of Telehealth, and a member of COACH, the Canadian association of health IT professionals.  She is also a member of a Special Interest Group (SIG) CST International SIG and the Telehealth coordinator SIG.  In April 2010, the CST and the COACH associations joined forces, becoming one organization.  She is a member of the American telemedicine association.  She was for several years a member of the Keston Group, a group of independant researchers and consultants, and the International Society for telemedicine and e-ehealth (ISfTeH).  She is a member of the Canadian University Womens' Club of Montreal, a chapter of the Canadian and International federation of University Women.

Infotelmed Associates are members of a number of professional associations and continue to renew and maintain links to the health and business sectors and to academia.  For specifics see individual biographical notes on Who We Are- Qui nous sommes.
